Youd need to define "trend", do you mean greater body:wick ratio, range, raw bodysize, more (60-70%+) ltf bars inside a daily candle?
by daily do you mean by "whatever my broker calls a D1 bar", from 9am-9am Sydney time (a bugger to code btw, cos I dont know how to access dlls), in 24 H1 blocks (with a 23hour block on friday)....

Order your thoughts, and I'll whack up a forum specifically for donators to request (and if possible assist with) statistical indis

Your right, it needs proper description and it's way harder than I first thought it is. I will think up something later.

jarnapal,

I can see what you wanted to know tho :)

I would ask for all those defs of trend, mabee theres a stastical correlation. I would use H1 for ltf bars.

For Daily I would be a lazy coder and go with 'brokers D1 bar' and use a broker that gives 5 D1 candles a week (ie no short candle on sundays). meaning the 'gap' (period of low movement cos no banks are open) is at the end of the D1 bar.

The thing with statistical indis is that they can take a while to work out the code and then you often have to do some manual checking to make sure the results are actually the results and not caused by coding retardation or 'hammer hands' :)

Anyway post the idea on II when you work out some definitions

I deleted all the other CC versions and downloaded the newest CC lite from your forum.
Made sure that the OBV indicator's CC object layer and the CC lite OBJ layer were the same...
refreshed, compiled, ...still confused :?

I dont know why the indi was behaving in that manner, but I have applied a hammer to get it going.

As long as the CC.object.layer is the same as CC_Lites object.layer everything should be cool, the file supplied at II (and sent via pm) is directly from my indicators folder.

bear in mind that it might take 1 tick for the 0 candle to show.

Same problem

I downloaded a fresh copy of II_CC_Lite and and the OBV fix.

Yes, I tried turning it on and off again 8)

I loaded the CC lite first and then OBV

I loaded OBV first and then CC lite.

Did you program the indi to look for the CC Lite start line and draw 3-wide auto CC from back and forward from that point?

Maybe I am the only one having problems

no MO, I had an attack of retardedness, and um...

did not update II_CC_Lite on II after I changed the way objects were named, in order to put multiple CC's on one chart.....

So everybody, many apologies for my errors, please dl II_CC_Lite and ensure you have the version 2.0.1 (thats the one now posted at II)
