Thank you TRO and everyone one who has dropped knowledge on this forum!

I've been lurking for the last few weeks reading the long threads and just read Trading in the Zone today. Aside from the technical aspects of it, I seemed to have learned a lot of this stuff already from playing poker. That being said, I am well aware of my noob status.

I am still trying to figure out the most efficient way to use my trading software. I believe I read somewhere that TRO uses MT4 for charting and MB trading navigator for entering trades, so I have decided to emulate that. Does anyone have any tips for using the Navigator interface quickly? Especially in the area of changing SL and TP after entering the trade...is there a better way than having to go through so many menus? The hotkey system seems limited.

What do you think the best trading method would be to begin with? And on what time frame? It doesn't really matter to me...I am just looking for a starting point. I live on the west coast, does it matter which pairs or hours I trade? When is the two percent room on paltalk most active?

Finally, would this be the appropriate place to post trades and ask for help reviewing them?

Thanks for your patience.

Welcome,

Look into your TTO orders. This is where you can set entry, stop, and profit target in one execution. Once placed you can edit from the pending order window. The best method and timeframe is all a personal choice. If I was in CA I'd be studying the market movement from about 10:30 p.m. your time till as long as I could hang. I believe TRO's in the Pal talk thru the a.m New York, if he doesn't respond ask him at the link below, he's been hanging here lately. Post away on the charts, start a journal, consider this your journal if you like. Lot's of folks here will give you feedback.
