Yes limits can get precise entries yet price can also blow straight through it.

So whats the difference between price blowing straight through and bouncing? Hence my point on L2 / T&S.

Today I end with +1. Trading at work really is not the same as trading at home. Less focus. I will have to check the results from tomorrow and friday to decide if I will move to htf at work.

Trade with a bias...your results will improve dramatically......

thanks guys for all your comments!

the last week was interesting...my results were +-0 but i came to the conclusion that trading m5 is useless at work. so i will move up to m15/4h and see where it goes in the next month.

less trades, less stress ;-)

my first day: only one trade, +40. the picture looks good 8)

@es/pip
would you have traded the three hours after my entry?

It doesn't matter what i would have done.

But to answer your question, generally if i am looking at charts then i am trading.

I would probably live a lot longer if i didn't scalp, but i cant help it.

Trading longer time frames is easier and less stressful, and maybe that it is what fits better for you.

When i learned to trade it was by scalping, that was a long time ago, and i am set in my ways at this point i think.

I still trade long term stuff, but if i am sitting here watching i will just trade it all for the most part.

Just take the ideas and make it your own, and trade it the way that is the most comfortable for you.
Bend over and assume the position for another 4 years of hope and change.

@es/pip
Thanks! I was wondering if it is possible to gain money in market conditions like that. I also would trade it but I often get out at b/e in ranges like this.

Today: 1 trade, again I had a lot of luck, +46

My trades this week:

The first loser was based on the double top. I thought we would see a heavy down-swing. Horrible entry based on greed....I have no idea why I was unable to turn my bias and why I was unable to see that pa was up. It was obvious...but it is good to have an image like this to know that my opinion and my hopes mean nothing...

2nd one is a bit sad. My sl was too tight and I got taken out before the move started. I also have no idea why I put my sl there....it was at the lows which normally always get taken out before the real move starts. Lesson learned...

No 3 is the same idea like No 2. Now I got my pips...
