Averaged in this morning with .1 lot, putting my average around the red line.

Averaged in again with .1 lots after the spike. Only lowered my average a bit. I think I'm only going to add again if I see an opportunity on a higher timeframe.

Still watching what you're doing. Looks good thus far Thanks for the thread.

As price moves slowly to my average, I wonder if I should have gotten out earlier. If things continue to move against my average, I'll get out with a 4% loss.

Price is currently hovering just above my average. If anyone here uses averages, at what point do you admit you were wrong?

Looking at the D3 candles, I don't see much more than a retracement. I'm unsure of how much risk to handle though now that price is above my average.

any chance we can get an updated, marked up chart of the trade thus far?

Sorry! Let's see here...

H3 chart. Price clearly moving against me. Red line is my average.

D3 chart. From this perspective, price hasn't moved much.

I think my mistake was to average in using the H3 charts, when I planned to be in for the longer term. Had I entered only from D3, I wouldn't have even averaged in yet.

Closed out of the trade this morning after seeing price close over my average.

I need to work on catching extremes, and have a better method of entering them.

Price did several attempts to close over the line. Then it created lower low and the next part is a fact already :)

It's the way I see it. But I have always been a wrong smart-ass here...
