Re: A fresh start! Doji's Trading Journal
Idea....
Been messing around with what I call clone boxes. Idea from a fellow trader. Not sure how he uses them but im trying to apply visual principles to them which would benefit my trading.
Theory is a measurement of the 1st run down, thus forming a box(purple dashes)
Thought is if this measured area is applied to the high of the 2nd area, the move should be at least as large, giving me a potential exit point.
If the 2nd move is larger, thus being the biggest, price should move back up around 50 percent then reach the 2nd move low at a minimum.
I see this happen all over the place.
Documenting this short to see if it works out.

Re: A fresh start! Doji's Trading Journal
Just stopped out, but now I should have seen previous Clones....
They did not break out so that signals a reversal. (White clones)
I also may have draw the boxes to large on the way down..missed the 1st swing.
Next chart will show the redrawn box clones.

Re: A fresh start! Doji's Trading Journal
Corrected clone boxes in purple, worked.
Broke out, retraced then dropped to the low of the 2nd clone box as a minimum.
In the mean time...i skipped my usual reversal and got stopped out. But using the Doji zone, momentum broke momentum which would have given me my usual reversal with profit.
