1 or 2 pages back a responded to Phil with a picture that is very similar to your chart.

If you remember what you see then you are likely to see it again in some form or another.

I don't see anything wrong with the short if you are only going after a handful of pips.

P.S. MO, on my previous chart, why did you put lowest blue line in this place? I mean, why didnt you put it lower, to the zline?

Everyone uses two things to trade:
1) a trigger / a price level or the area in which triggers are generally activated: eg +/- x pips from the open of a new bar.
the only 'valid' triggers are:
a) the price level
b) the stop loss
c) something in-between

2) a stop loss / an allowance that is based on the movement of the pair and the period that is being traded.

A zero-line trade is simply a bet that a persons trade will fail: if you can see loss then you can see profit.

Nice post MO, thank you!

Hi Brzoza!
I'm seeing it as MO showed in that pic, but I want to share my view too.. if it can help.

I don't know what timeframe is that but, in my mind, it looks like this on a bigger one:

Purple boxes are patterns, rectangles are BOs.
Price was going up but it needs to retrace sometimes and if it isn't breaking the midpoint than you can't say that is falling yet (IMHO). Bigger charts are helpful, really.

Btw I think that the real loss comes from a short from a bad price (not at the top) + not taking profits fast + no reverse.

I am not a scalper so you are going to want to stick to what Doji is telling you.

That said,

a price level is a price that attracts and repels price.

First orange arrow: do you see how price moves down and away then back to the price level then up and back to the price level?

Second orange arrow: price touched level, bounced off of something in the middle, and then the level was 'confirmed' by the close of the white candle at that same level.

If you don't understand what I am saying then don't worry about it, it is one of those things that you pick up naturally over time.

Yes I am :(

I tried for two full days but then I wanted to destroy my pc
I have an old laptop and it's running Linux Mint OS (it was born with WinXp, just to let you know how old it is).
The problem is about fonts, not only about minicharts fonts.. i.e. the cross that you have on the bottom-right corner is a square on my pc, I can't draw arrows etc..
