Something about multiple candles forming intead of being quick....then trade away from support. I will give it one more candle...

Closed it at -6 and took a reversal

Im getting closer to a 1st version of a momentum bot.
This is the stats for the last 30 days on a 4 hr chart.
Im using a 8 ema as a bias...+ longs.... - shorts....
also have found that running only one direction is better.

Next step is to go live on demo to verify results.

Very interesting Doji. Thanks for sharing.

Just my two cents: when testing systems, it seems to be necessary to look back for a minimum of 3 months, and better to manually backtest for 1 year in order to get accurate stats that include all market conditions.

Please let us know how your demo results turn out.

Thanks Ric,

I dont optimize anything. You have to be very careful not to curve fit the results to history. I will start running it live on demo and continue to print out reports one quarter at a time then different 5 week periods.... without changing the parameters... If all results are looking good then I know I have a solid PA BOT.
