Sorry to see Your loss but remember that failure should be a feedback. I'm curious, what did You learn from this particular experience?

And one more if You don't mind me asking. Do You have one approach / style or You jump between tools?

Because You often post different charts and what I've found helpful is to stick with ONE thing (even if it's not working well) and going with it for an extended period of time. It's like math, You can't see the variables without having constant values. Also what we tend to do (people) while switching approaches is to focus mainly on them. Do we do it right? / wrong? etc. and when we find something good we EXPECT it to work. Which automatically imposes our view on the market instead of letting market dispaly it's nature to us. Even MO said WAAAAAAY BACK something like: "You need to let the market teach You how it works". Which I belive is basically that principle in action.

Hope that makes any sense : )

I'm effectively trading EXACTLY the same method. I just post a completely different chart each time, trying to see what's going on like most others on here lol. It's all momo retrace enter.
What did I learn, how about never trade when there's news but as there's news about every half hour that means never trade. period. The other feedback I get is lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose, every trade pretty much loses. Im a streaky trader and every trade in the streak is lose. I can't remember the last time I gained more than the spread.

I post my trades. How many winners can you remember?
The one I posted earlier was a loss too btw. Now look what's just happened. Bang. it bounced around ff that minor r/s, then made a stronger H1 down bar. Then what? They took it right up, took out all the stops and BANG. Down.
So once again right on direction blah blah. Here comes the lecture on space.
I oversized space on the last spike down, that's why I lost 25 pips.

I look at it bit differently. The thing with that wick above H1 close is that they GIVE A FCK about that close. That is why they wicked it. Again MO: "closed candles are truth, not closed are illusion".

Also what TF You trade?

Bettlebox,
I like the simplicity of your entering at the break of your signal candle......I always enter on a retrace, but I'm gonna try your entry out on Monday, I think it will simplify things a notch. Will let you know how it goes.
Btw, HNY to all at Kresliik!

Hi forexjpn
My favourite is 1hr zline areas with 5mins . But I still use 15min momo where i need bit more confirmation in price. But its all the same principle.

Dojirock quoted it in the most simplest terms-

"The Price action pattern must be followed...
breakout, zline....retrace enter....
its the same on all time frames, all currencies..
it either holds or breaks..
if it holds trade away from hold
if it breaks trade away from the breaks.
they are zones..not lines."
