Doji,

How do you distinguish a failed line. I see Four wicks where price failed...?
First Candle has mbar down
Second Candle closes up with hammer
Third tries to close lower and fails to do so...

So
ahhh Maybe that is why you were looking to long...

Or are you entering when price fails to close in lower tf mbars going towards your direction.

hhhhmmmm Nice...

Back to the bat cave and try it out...

That is exactly why i was looking for longs.
As in many trades also...there is no hurry...there is plenty of time to enter.

Is this something you would do..

1hr bias direction
15min history mbar
15min mbar broken
entered on failed 5min mbar
TP was 15mbar

Explanation is on pic.

Please let me know if this is something you would look at or issues I didn't look at. Or if this is totally off!

MDSEA,

your analysis is right on to how I see things. The only additional thing I woul keep in mind if trading other than the 15 min or 5 min for targets is that the 4hr and daily are long bias. So shorts are counter trend.

Good job, nice chart!
