OK..why is the very bottom one not one when it was the point of a breakout south,if price returned to that you would be looking for a short? As it was 90 closed over the other way, either putting you long at the point on a close under close over or long after it closed over the 'go long' line above it.

Cheers

I think that's because the line has been crossed by a green candle. Am I right Doji? (I try to understand as well)

Because your green, up, or bullish CC didn't close below that line.

Read this carefully, its not a typo.

Same problem with the 3rd from the bottom of the picture (and not 3rd from top of the picture)? Is that correct?

That's fair enough when examining it in hindsight. At the time you would be entering short near the line before that candle had closed. you wouldn't know it had failed and closed back over it until afterwards.

No. The 3rd from the bottom is correct. If you count down 3 from the top ignoring the one that runs off the left side of the pic.....is the one that is not.

Thats exactly what im saying. I would be short...there is no reason to go long yet.....im still trading the last valid zline.

so there is no hindsight about it.

:)

In hindsight I would only be hoping for a confirmation of continued short....it failed....but im still short....there is now long indication.
