Are these something like we are looking for.
I had two trades seen by dotted lines....
The arrows are just something I see that maybe something to work with.
Thanks doji
Legend,
Nice chart, Your doing well.
Just remember, BB is a tool...always look left when price is outside the bb (extreme) and look for the real reason to enter from there.
I marked up a few more...
Great Job!

I understood that when price wicked past the BB on one extreme such as the high end, you then looked to go short. But, on your notation to the far right, you say it "broke here go long". What about the chart says Long instead of reversal like the ones that preceded it?
Thanks!!
TEX
Look at my lines. Price does two things. Reaches a line and gets rejected with a retrace or crosses the line and rejects from the opposit side (retrace). So when my line broke, closed above, we are now in a expansion phase of movement. How Far? I do not know but until price tells me its finished, I'm long. I can tell you this, there is still no indication that its finished going up on this chart. Remember my lines are drawn before price hits the BB. Its where they both happen that is of interest to me.

I don't think I'm doing it quite the same as Doji but...kind of similar - what I'm doing is almost like using 3 timeframes so I wouldn't be looking at any short trades: unless those up momo boxes fail with a stong close under the bottom of the box to the downside then price is up.
Combined candles on M15 for momo and zlines (which is like looking at a 'flexible' H1), wait for price to come back to these areas and time the entry M5 where I'm essentially looking for the same thing i.e. in these instances price is coming down so I look for momo down and then I look for it to fail before resuming up (close under, close over). Then try to hold based on M15 as that's what I'm trading.
There is one short in there on the 8th that I possibly would have taken - it only last 3 M15 bars though, would it have profited...hard to say.
